Santa! I Know Him!

Hey friends!

Are you ready for all things December? I'll start you off right on this last day of November! It's here whether we are ready or not. So, I chose this past week to get out a few old Christmas photos from when my boys were little to put me in the Christmas spirit. Apparently, growing up is something that must happen and I'm not ready for that either!

You should check out all of the new and beautiful cut files Ashley has created for the shop! Some of my favorites are based on that very famous movie about Buddy the Elf!

I combined the Buddy The Elf Cut File and the Seasons Greeting's Cut File and this super cute Oh Deer! Collection from Fancy Pants Designs to make my layout!

Here's a little close up to the detail of the number file I used.
I love how I could have used both the positive and the number negatives from this file AND I love circles so it's a win win!

Please be sure to stop over at the shop and pick yourself up some fun cut files to use for all your holiday projects!

HAPPY DECEMBER!

My Super Power..

Hi there everyone!!

It's Tarrah here with you today to share a layout
that I created recently using some of the awesome cut files available in store

The files I used on this layout are:

Like Missy's layout a few days ago...I found it difficult to work with a collection that suited the theme of my layout, so I opted, like Missy, to keep it simple and used no patterned paper at all.
All the colour you see here was created using a bitty bag, washi tape, journal spots, a peg and mist!

'My Super Power'

I decided to cut the cut files in black for impact against the white background....by adding subtle colour here and there I feel it doesn't overcrowd my layout...

One of my favourite backgrounds is the Tangled Web cut file and I must be honest and say I  did cut it in 12 x 12 but I was a little intimidated by it so I ended up cutting it up into pieces for a more random web look...

Thank you so much for stopping by the Cut Shoppe blog today....have a great day!

Happy

Hi everyone,

Gina here, and I'm excited to share a new layout with you using the Doo-Dads cut file.

To create my layout I took the happy file (included in the Doo-Dads cut file set) and opened it in my Silhouette Studio software program.  I used a copy + paste option to repeat the pattern 9 times and then cut the file from patterned paper.

Supplies:  Doo-Dads cut file: The Cut Shoppe;  Patterned Paper, cork sticker, wood frame, enamel dots, stickers: American Crafts; Flair: A Flair For Buttons; Die Cut Machine: Silhouette Cameo

Our new Cut File sets went into the Shop yesterday, a day early because of the Thanksgiving holiday, but I wanted to stop in today and share a layout I created, using the Peace Love Joy cut file and the Trimming the Tree cut file.

I wanted to add some sparkle to my layout, so I used Double Sided Adhesive paper from Silhouette to cut out the Peace Love Joy title cut file.  Once it cut, I placed it on my layout and sprinkled over it with Gold Glitter from Silhouette.  And what's a Christmas tree without some decorations??!!  I added some of the enamel dots and wood veneers from Gossamer Blue's Get Happy collection to my tree, from the Trimming the cut file set.

Being Strong is My Super Power!

Hey there, friends!  Missy here today :)

I was so excited when I saw the awesome Hero Up cut file in the shoppe!  I teach Body Pump at the YMCA, and last year I dressed as Superman :)  I've been waiting for the right time to scrap these photos, and this cut file totally inspired me!  The interesting thing about these photos...the colors really intimidated me.  I think primary colors are difficult to scrap, and out of all the collections sitting on my shelves, NONE really coordinated.

So what did I do?  I grabbed white cardstock, washi tapes and inks and created my design from scratch.  I used no patterned paper at all.  I cut the files on white cardstock and used gelatos to ink the edges.  I made a simple and messy background with some plastic packaging and bright Dylusions inks.  I added the tape, some rub-ons and some stictching, and that was it!

Here's a clost up of the Wham cut...I just love it!  My Cameo blade was starting to get dull here, so some of the tiny edges did crumple.  I did get a new blade since this, so hopefully it will be a while before that happens again :)  I used pop dots to raise it up so I could layer thread under it.

Another of the cut files...I just love the POW and the fun title!  I changed it to "Being Strong" since it fit my photos better.  Love the versatility of these files to make them your own!

Here's the actual cut file...lots of fun possibilities!

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope all of you who celebrate Thanksgiving have a wonderful day tomorrow!

The Best Way To Spread Christmas Cheer Is Singing Loud For All To Hear

***If you are looking for The Cut Shoppe and A Flair for Buttons Blog Hop, please go HERE!***

Hi everyone, it's Danielle here with you. Last week some real fun Holidays cut files were added to the store and I immediately fell in love with the Buddy the Elf set. That movie is one of my favorite Christmas movies and I love that some quotes from it are available in cut files now.

For the background of my layout I used an older cut file, Counting Stars, that wasn't designed for the Holidays actually but I think it is perfect to use for Christmas layouts. I sprayed the stars with Heidi Swapp's Tinsel color Shine to make it shine and sparkle. All papers and the chipboard frame are from the My Mind's Eye Sleigh Bells Ring collection and I added embellishments from Pink Paislee Merry & Bright and Elle's Studio Good Cheer.

This is the complete Buddy the Elf set and you can find it overhere in the store.

And here's the Counting Stars cut file.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Hello everyone! Magda here! I`m back with a new mixedmedia layout. Today I have for you   a layout with a little message for myself,  maybe for you too, for everyone ... :)
This time I used four cut files [yes, the choice  was difficult again!] - I used  the Lucky in Love background cut file, the Words to Live By file [I chosen one phrase for my title], the Tag You`re It cut file and some alphas from the A to the Z cut file.  Okay, have a look what I created this time - hope you will like it! :)
